Creating A Jungle Setting – Giraffe Figurine

Learn to make Giraffe
Step 1
Take yellow color fondant and mix it with the tylose powder. Now take a big ball of yellow fondant for the body of the giraffe.
Step 2
Make a sausage from the upper end of the ball and insert a satay stick so that it will hold the shape of the neck of the giraffe. Let it dry for a few hours.
Step 3
Take a small amount of yellow fondant and roll it into a long thin sausage just like in the picture for the legs.
Step 4
Pinch the lower end of the sausage and shape it into a feet.
Step 5
To make the stem end of the leaf, make a teardrop around the 1 cm wire protruding out of the broader end of the leaf. Set aside to dry.
Step 6
Make hands the same way.
Step 7
Take a small ball of yellow fondant for the head.
Step 8
Shape the ball just like in the picture.
Step 9
With the help of a dresden tool make a smile line on the lower end of the face and shape it well.
Step 10
Using a small ball tool, make two cavities for the nose as shown.
Step 11
With the help of a flat end of the dresden tool make eye sockets on the face.
Step 12
Take a small amount of white fondant, divide it into two balls and insert
them in the eye sockets.
Step 13
Take a small amount of black fondant and make eyeballs,
eyelashes and eyebrows just like in the picture.
Step 14
Take a little pink petal dust and dust it on the cheeks of the giraffe.
Step 15
Place the head of the giraffe on the body to make sure the proportions are correct.
Step 16
Mix a little brown and orange gel color together. With the help of a flat brush, paint random blocks on the body of the giraffe just like in the picture.
Step 17
Complete the giraffe by placing few strands of brown hair on the top of the
head.
